Milton Regis branch

The branch of the Mother's Union in this Parish is just six years old, having been reformed after a gap of around nine years.

We began with nine members and now have twenty three, three of those being men!! It is not generally known theses days that you don't have to be a woman, a mother, or married. We meet on the first Monday of each month in the Parish Hall in Green Porch Close 19:15. A service of Holy Communion is held at 18:30 in the Church which all from the community are welcome to attend.

There is usually a speaker eight months out of the twelve each year. The year ends with and Advent service in Canterbury Cathedral which is always packed with members and their families.

The branch supports The Quays and Porch-light, both places which support those who have found themselves without homes.
